Coutts Consultants coordinates mica crypto-asset service provider authorisation support after establishing the client's commercial objective, ownership, activities and cross-border position.

The engagement is structured around the actual Dutch requirement and coordinated with AFM / DNB and, where required, appropriately qualified Dutch legal, tax, accounting, immigration, banking or regulated specialists.

AFM handles CASP licensing and notifications under MiCAR, with DNB responsible for relevant prudential supervision; the former Dutch VASP transition ended on 30 June 2025. Registrations, licences, tax treatment, residence permissions and bank accounts remain subject to the competent authority or independent provider.
